Spyderco Pacific Salt Black FRN (SpyderEdge)

It's PlainEdge or SpyderEdge and is similar in shape and size to Spyderco's best-selling Endura model but with a slightly more rounded tip. All internal steel parts are treated as well making them impervious to rust and pitting and of course, salt. Those challenged by cleaning and maintaining their knives will find the Pacific Salt stays rust-free even if put away wet. The blade's hole is enlarged to 14mm for easier opening/closing with gloved, wet or cold hands. Textured in a checkerboard pattern, the black FRN handle has a grippy texture and is fitted with a reversible titanium pocket clip which positions for right-handers and lefties. The addition of a lanyard hole offers a backup method of attachment (thong or lanyard cord) for use around water where once dropped, a knife is often lost or elusively hard to retrieve.

Spyderco Native (SpyderEdge Blade)

Native 3 1/8" Plain Edge/SpyderEdge C41PSBK The C41 Native models have made themselves right at home in Spyderco's line of CLIPIT folding knives. In a sense they go "native" in any surrounding, tackling specific cutting chores, detailed or tough, as if they were designed for that specific task. Available with a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced nylon resin handle (C41BK), this model is an ideal mid-sized folder. Feature a 3 1/8 inch (80mm) spearpoint style blade with a pronounced top swedge and are available in two configurations, PlainEdge and a 50/50 PlainEdge/SpyderEdge version. The lightweight C41BK Native has a blade of VG-10 stainless steel and weighs 2 7/16 ounces (69 grams). The Native come with a stainless steel clip that can be mounted to either side of the knife (for left-hand or right-hand use) or it can be removed altogether by simply loosening a mounting screw with a coin.

Spyderco Dragonfly (SpyderEdge Blade)

The challenge, was how to make a very small knife feel like a large voracious cutting tool in any size hand. The Stainless Steel Dragonfly is the outcome. Spyderco began with an AUS-8 stainless steel blade and added a heavy gauge stainless steel handle. Months of designing and research went into developing the handle so it would feel custom-made to the palm. The C28 allows the user's hand to wrap around a series of rounded off angles, including a flat angle at the base of the knife for the pinkie to rest on. Then the Spyderco Trademark Round Hole was moved slightly back on the blade. The placement of the hole and the angular handle combine to allow for coordinated, comfortable one-handed opening and closing. A "cusp" on the top spine of the blade provides a prominent point of grip control for the thumb. Add that to a rounded choil just behind the cutting edge (for the forefinger) and it makes controlling the cut very easy. The knife may feel like a much larger cutting tool, but retains an overall open length of only 5 3/8 inches (138mm) and weight of only 2 1/4 ounces (63 grams). The clothing clip is attached for tip-up carry in the pocket, purse or as a money clip. It is available in a PlainEdge or SpyderEdge blade configuration. Spyderco Dragonfly (2&1/8" SpyderEdge Blade)
Spyderco Harpy (SpyderEdge Blade)

Like the claw of the Harpy eagle the C08 is shaped for controlled pulling cuts. The hawkbill blade shape originated in the marine/fishing industry where severing rope, line, webbing and netting is done at arm's length quickly and efficiently. The curving arc holds what you're cutting against the sharpened edge keeping it from slipping off the tip.Custom knifemaker David Boye developed the dent in the locking lever, which insures the blade remains securely locked open when gripping the handle with force. Cut out of the handle is a shackle key/drying vent allowing air to circulate around the blade when closed wet. Metal clip is positioned for tip down carry.
